My baby brother got married! They had their wedding over Fall break, even though at BYU they don't get any school off. So they did their reception Thursday night after a day of classes, and were married Friday morning with a luncheon afterwards. It was weird to have the reception first, but I guess you do what works!
The dinner and reception were in Salt Lake City at a place called Ember. It was an interesting venue. They had a food truck catering pizza. The food was good, but it was a bit crowded. At the dinner, the siblings all gave gifts about something weird about the bride or groom. I gave them 6 bottles of fry sauce with a fry sauce guide on when it is appropriate to use fry sauce. My brother uses fry sauce on just about everything!
P1 and P2 dancing at the reception.
P3 was pretty stinking adorable in his pink shirt and suspenders. The wedding photography stalked him a bit, and I'm sure they will have a lot of pictures of him!
They were married in the Provo City Center Temple. It was a nice ceremony, and the temple is beautiful. They had a nice waiting room for children and my in-laws watched them while we were in the temple. The wedding was at 9 am, so we left our house at 7:15 am to make sure we got there by 8:30. So, I woke up at 5 am to get ready, and we got kids up at 6 am. It made for a long day.
The newlyweds!
It was cold, but I took P3's jacket off for a quick picture with all the nephews and nieces. Although I guess P2 is the only niece. The one baby didn't want to leave his mommy.
Hurrah!
My grandma and her granddaughters:
After the wedding, we had a luncheon at the White Willow Reception Center in Provo. Catering was done by Chick-fil-A. It was a nice venue, and they had a good variety of food. It was nice to visit with family.
