On Halloween, our first stop was trick-or-treating at grandpa's work.
P3 enjoyed munching on some crackers from grandma.
I was falsely informed that my brother was working at the library, so we stopped by to see him. He wasn't there though.
We went trick-or-treating at The Square (better known as Colonial Square). As soon as we got there, P2 had to go potty. So we had to go find a restroom and take off her costume, then put it back on. The joys of little children! We mostly did this one for P3 since he wouldn't go out for very long at night. He loved getting all the candy! He would even try to eat the candy through the wrapper if I wouldn't open it for him. I enjoyed the yummy free donuts from Parsons.
Since we were close by, we stopped by to see my sister.
At 6 pm, we went to a few houses and stopped at the neighborhood party for hamburgers and hotdogs. Then we took P3 home, and the big kids and I met up with our friends at 6:45. The big kids lasted until about 8 pm. It was freezing cold though! I couldn't feel my toes by the end of it. P2 was really upset because she lost a cheap bracelet at some point. She wanted to go re-trace all of our steps in the freezing dark, and I wouldn't let her.
The beautiful sunset when we dropped off P3:
The kids came home with soooo much candy. We let them pick out 10 things for their personal bags, and then the rest was for sharing. PE will take some to work to help get rid of it. We had 4 gallon ziplock bags full of candy!
