For his birthday, P1 wanted some Avengers action figures. In the weeks before his birthday, I spent time finding the best ones. Well, less than 2 days before his birthday, PE starts showing P1 different toys on the computer to see if he wants something different. I was quite upset with him!!! There was not time left to get something different!
Lucky for PE, P1 settled on wanting Dinobot transformers for his birthday. I had 2 dinobot transformers sitting in my toy box that would complete the set we had already started. PE would have been in big trouble if P1 had picked something else.
Family came over after dinner to celebrate. P1 received a Wild Kratt's book, a crystal growing lab set, a Spider-man Lego set, a Link's Awakening amiibo, and a fishing pole.
Speaking of last minute changes...P1 changed his mind about what kind of cupcakes he wanted. Initially he wanted Smash Bros characters on the cupcakes. Well, the day before, he told me he wanted Pokemon cupcakes instead. Fortunately, I still had red sprinkles and for the cupcake toppers I just changed out the Pokemon.
