Summer Fun

We've enjoyed a lot of time at Grandpa's pool this summer. Swimming lessons has helped the kids be more confident with putting their face in the water.

P2 has the best Sunbeam teachers ever! Her class is AMAZING every Sunday. One time I walked in  and they were all sitting on the floor eating popcorn (which was everywhere), and they had a blanket over the table for the den because they were learning about Daniel and the lions den. Her one teacher received her mission call though, and they had to say goodbye to her. P2 still asks when she will be coming back.

P3 has discovered a newfound love for ice cream. He had never even had ice cream before, but he knew that he had to have it! And of course he loved it, and now no one can eat ice cream in peace.

Just chillin' at home:

 Christmas in June:

We had a water party at a neighbor's house, and the kids really enjoyed that. P3 has no fear of the water, and just dives right in.

Our city has a summer reading program at the park. One week they had a fire truck there for the kids to see.

We went with Grandma and Grandpa to the Rockin' E Country Store, and the kids wanted to ride the horse. They panicked a bit when Grandpa put in some money to make it go...
