P3 has been "sleeping" in our room since he was born. And I use the term sleeping very lightly, because this child does not know how to sleep. He wakes up 3-5 times a night, and I usually only get to sleep in 2-3 hr stretches. It has been so hard. We didn't want to move him to the kids room until he slept better at night, but I had finally had enough. P3 needed to be evicted from our bedroom.
We bought bunk beds for the big kids so we could fit them in the same room. Twin beds are so huge!!! I've been so used to the toddler beds. P1 and P2 were very excited to have a bunk bed. We got them new Star Wars sheets, and P2 loves "Arty-Dooty" (R2D2).
I bought a $20 Wyze Cam to use as a baby monitor, and it works pretty well for only $20.
We put P3 in the room with P1 and P2 and wished them good luck! P3 thought it was pretty fun to be in the same room as his siblings. And apparently we needed to do this way sooner, because after a day or two, P3 was "sleeping" through the night! (The camera shows he still gets up a few times, but now he usually puts himself back down). So at least mom and dad are finally getting to sleep through the night! P1 and P2 have handled it very well, and they seem to sleep through most of it.
