PE's work did a day at Lagoon for the office. So we were able to take the kids for their first time. Except of P3. We decided to leave him home with Grandma and Grandpa. We had a really fun time, and the kids can't wait to go back again! P2 always calls it Magoon, no matter how many times we correct her.
We hit Rattlesnake Rapids fairly early, before the line was too long. The kids were both a little bit scared, and didn't want to get wet. P1 got pretty soaked, but ended up liking it. I sheltered P2, so she didn't get as wet. The scariest part though, was after the ride was done and they were bringing us up the ramp. That made the kids really nervous.
We went and saw the model trains and the rest of Pioneer Village.
We also did the log flume. P1 said that it was one of his favorite rides, and P2 did not like it as much.
P1 and P2 were very brave and went on Puff the Magic Dragon without mom or dad! P1 was a good helper because P2 was very scared. P1 was a little scared too. But they did it!
P2 wouldn't let P1 fly higher in the ladybug, so P1 wanted to ride it again by himself. He did, but only made it go up a little bit.
We ate lunch with the company, and they provided the food which was nice. We did one carnival game that was World Cup oriented, and we won a giant snake plush. The kids thought that was fun. We had a really fun day together, and I'm glad we left the baby home. We hope that company does a Lagoon day next year too!
