PE is a great dad and we enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with him. P1 drew a picture of him for Father's Day. It looks just like him! Father's Day also happened to be on my birthday this year (and a somewhat big birthday too). So it was hard to decide who got the day off from cooking and doing dishes this year.
The next day we got a new roof. I guess that was our Father's Day and birthday present (and Christmas for the next 10 years). The company we hired did a great job (except they started at 6 am!). But they had it done by 1 pm. It is nice to have a sound roof over our heads!
