My brother and his fiancee invited us to Top Golf one day. The kids loved it! They loved making the ball come out and they got pretty decent at hitting it. P3 always wanted it to be his turn! It was a very fun outing!
We had friends over for a dutch oven night. These two kiddos are so adorable together:
Helping Dad play a video game:
I found a lion in his natural habitat:
Stopping at Les Scwab to fix a flat tire. We learned that our van does not come with a spare tire, because it is an AWD model. There isn't space for the tire anywhere!
Practicing blowing up air mattresses:
Fun at Grandma's house! Although I don't have pictures, we have done a lot of swimming in Grandpa's pool. P1 has become a really good swimmer and doesn't need floaties.
P1 and P2 started soccer. Their games are at the same time, so PE and I have to take turns at each field. P2 struggled with her first game. I think she was just feeling anxious. She was in tears a few times, but was able to end on a good note! When I went to watch P1, a mom commented to me that she loved how happy P1 was while playing. He just smiles and laughs as he runs up and down the field. I laughed and told the mom that my daughter was on the other field in tears. Go figure!
Back-to-school night was at the same time as their first soccer game. So, as soon as their game was done we rushed over to the school and were able to meet their teachers for the new school year.
We went to a Bee's game for Dad's work. The kids had fun. P1 won a bucket, and I won a light-up football.
