P3 woke up on Monday with a fever of 103 F. He was a pretty sad baby. Unfortunately, my colitis decided to also flare up that morning, so I had to keep putting him down to go to the bathroom. I was about to text the sister who ministers to me, and right when I picked up my phone, I got a text from her! She asked how I was doing, and if I needed anything. What timing! She was sweet and brought us dinner that night. P3 took a 3 hour nap on me, and basically all that I did that day was hold him.
P3 had his 18 month check up on Tuesday. He was still a little bit sick, so he was a sad little guy during the visit. Luckily, there were no shots this visit! He has gone down a little bit in weight percentile. He hasn't eaten a lot this week, so the doctor said to give him chocolate milk. P3 will love that!
Weight:
20 lbs 12 oz (9th percentile)
Length:
31.5 in (21st percentile)
P3 was so tired but wouldn't take a nap. I turned on a show and tried to get him to lay down on me. He refused, and just sat on me. He was so tired though, that he kept almost falling over. He couldn't keep his eyes open. I finally got him to lay down on me, and then P2 fell off the hammock and screamed bloody murder. So of course, P3 startled awake and refused to go back to sleep.
We had some nice weather this week, so we did venture outside for a little bit.
P3 likes to have sword fights with his siblings. It's pretty adorable.
On Saturday, we had a girl's day out! There was a bridal shower in Orem for my cousin, so P2 and I went with my mom and sister. It was good to see family, and fun to spend the day with P2. When I told P1 that we would be gone most of the day, he started to cry and said that he would miss me so much!
After the bridal shower, we went to a BYU rugby game to watch another cousin play. It was our first rugby game. It went pretty fast, and P2 enjoyed the popcorn. After the game, we ate at the Brick Oven. It was a fun day!
Dad and P3 chillin' in the hammock:
P1 likes to dress up as Link, so P3 started to copy his brother. He makes a pretty cute Link.
Grandma and Grandpa came by Sunday night for a little visit. The kids always love time with grandparents.
