We had a Pokemon birthday party for P1. It was a lot of fun to plan, and it went a lot better than last year's birthday party!
Party favors:
Poke ball cupcakes:
This poster was fun to create! A project of love. I designed all of it and printed it at home. I did end up taking it in to get laminated. Since I had a free HP ink plan, it only cost $7 to get it laminated. P1 was really excited about this. Every kid got 3 Poke balls, and the plan was to blindfold them and let them try to catch a Pokemon!
The Poke ball cupcakes each had a Pokemon coming out them. Ignore the backwards 6, apparently I am dyslexic.
Let the party begin! We started off by making Pikachu ears and watching a Pokemon episode while we waited for everyone to arrive.
Playing Catch a Pokemon! This turned out really well, and the kids loved it!
We also played Pokemon Bingo:
Everyone enjoyed their cupcakes:
We had 3 boys and 3 girls show up. Three were from kindergarten, 2 from primary, and 1 family friend. For presents, P1 received Pokemon pajamas, Pokemon legos, a Pokemon book, a Leonardo action figure, a Jurassic World truck and dinosaur, and a Transformer book/play set.
Everyone seemed to have fun, and P1 enjoyed every minute. It was a very successful party!
