6 Years Old

I can't believe I have a 6 year old! P1, you bring such joy to our family. You are kind, sweet, smart, and helpful. You are already reading and at the top of your class even though we suspect you have dyslexia. You have made several good friends in kindergarten, and your teacher says you are always kind and helpful. You are good to play with your younger siblings, and usually willing to help mom out. You are very creative, and are always building new toys out of your legos. You love holidays, and are always making decorations for the current holiday. You have become a really good eater and are willing to try new foods. And you will even eat the food you don't like because you want to be healthy. We love you so much, and it has been fun to watch you grow.

6 Year Stats:

Weight: 40 lbs 8 oz (18th percentile)
Height: 45 in (41st percentile)

P1 has been counting down to his birthday all year long. So of course, he woke up sick on his birthday. Poor kid! We were still at great-grandmas house in Gunnison, and P1 threw up in the middle of the night. He had a lot of mucus and a nasty cough, and was basically gagging on the mucus which caused him to throw up. So we ran to the store and got cough/decongestant medicine and then we made the 2 hour drive home. Dad was waiting at home with his presents. P1 got a Pikachu jacket, Pokemon chapter books, a Mew plush, and a Rowlet plush from P2. He also got a Mewtwo vs Mew lego set that he was most excited about.

We had family over for cake and ice cream. P1 got more Pokemon legos, and a Frog and Toad book from his uncle.

I threw a cake together really fast, and it turned out decent for the amount of time I spent on it.

Happy Birthday P1, we love you!
