Snow House

We had a lovely snowstorm at the beginning of March. PE made a big pile of snow for us while shoveling out the driveway. By the time we got around to playing in it, most of the other snow had melted away.

This is the most P1 has ever been willing to play in the snow. He doesn't like to touch it. But he had fun helping me dig out the house, and he even touched the snow with minimal crying. P1 even threw a couple snowballs with me, and he would laugh when the snow would scatter on the pavement and say "It's a mess!"

P1's mittens don't work very well, so he didn't wear them most of the time. But when his hands would get cold he would ask for his "sleeves".

We made a little window for his snow house. Later, PE helped P1 climb up the house and slide down it. He thought that was a lot of fun, and wanted to do it over and over. Then PE climbed on top of it hoping to break it, but our snow house was very solid and didn't cave in.
