September

Sunday dinner with my family. My little brother is engaged and will get married next month. The kids are excited to get a new aunt!

P3 helping me cook:

A house full of avid readers:

Cute boy at the table:

One Saturday, we were able to go to the baptism of a friend. At the luncheon, I mentioned that we had to go soon to our great-grandma's 90th birthday. My friend said that her brother and his family were also going to a 90th birthday celebration that day. Turns out my husband is cousins with my friend's sister-in-law. At the 90th birthday celebration, P3 had fun drinking out of a fancy goblet. I was worried the entire time that he would break it.

P3 traded his arm in for a cardboard sword:

Soccer! My mom and dad came often to help me out since PE was usually stuck at work.

We went to the State Fair. This time we went in the late afternoon on a Saturday. We have always gone in the morning or on a weekday. We will NEVER go again at that time of day. It was horrible! It should only take us 15 minutes to get there. It took an hour and half! Over an hour of it was just trying to go the block around the fairground to get to the parking. The 4 way stop at 1000 W 300 N was a nightmare. There really needs to be a light there. We almost just went home. By the time we got into the fairgrounds, we were all very irritable, especially Dad. It was not a pleasant experience.

Dressing up! P1 has a Spider-man costume for Halloween that P3 likes to steal. He is a pretty good Spider-man, even though the suit is way too big on him.

On a Wednesday, we checked P1 out of school early to go to Logan. They were having a Chocolate Expo at the new Aggie Chocolate factory. We thought that was a good excuse to go back up to Logan. We enjoyed sampling chocolates and Aggie Ice Cream. They even had steak samples that were rubbed in a cocoa seasoning. It was actually really good.

We stopped at Gossner's for cheese and flavored milk. We went to The Crepery to have dinner, but the place had a terrible smell (not that I noticed), so we grabbed a desert crepe to go, and then at dinner at the Firehouse Pizzeria. The pizza was really good, we haven't had it for a while. Unfortunately, it didn't sit well with me, and on our way home we had  to stop at a gas station.

My silly little boy:

My kids have decided that my piano works really well as a desk. I constantly have to remind them that it is not a desk and they can't keep all their papers on it.
