Disneyland Trip: Day 3

We woke up about 8 am, and boy was I sore. I could barely move or walk! We got ready, and ate breakfast at the hotel. P3 fell over in his car and made quite the scene. The hotel worker said she was amazed at how quickly he stopped crying when I picked him up.

We packed up and left the hotel at 10 am. We made a quick stop at Wal-Mart to grab some zip-ties. Traffic to LA was lovely once again. It took us just over an hour to get there. We almost forgot to fill up the gas tank. Only had to fill up 2 gallons! We made it to the car rental and dropped off the car. We waited in the wrong spot for the airport shuttle (my fault), but we finally figured it out and got on the shuttle. The wait to check our bags was long and Dad was getting anxious. But we made it through security pretty quickly. Our droids did get held up though. We were supposed to take them out of the bags since they were large electronics.

We made it, and had a little extra time to do go to the bathroom and grab some food. However, we didn't have time to eat the food. We boarded with Group A (flying Southwest), and ate while others were boarding. I sat with P3, and Dad said with the other two. This time P3 got his own seat! He loved that! It was a short flight to Oakland, and then we stayed on the same plane to go to SLC. We didn't even have a chance to get off the plane. I had to change P1's diaper in the tiny lavatory.

The flight from Oakland to SLC was completely full, so P1 had to sit on my lap. But once again, he fell asleep during take-off and didn't wake up until we landed. It was beautiful. We grabbed our bags and took one last shuttle ride to our car.

P3 just loved riding all the shuttles:

It was about 6:30 when we landed. We stopped at Subway on the way home. My colitis started flaring, yay! I'm sure it was from eating out a lot, being on my feet all day, and the stress of travel. When we do Disney World, we are going to have to take it more easy, or I will not be able to handle more than a day. Dad asked what did we learn to help us prepare for Disney World, and I said "are we sure we still want to do Disney World???"

It was a good trip, but definitely exhausting!

R2D2 and R4D5 made it safely home:

We asked the kids what the best part of the trip was. P1 said HyperSpace Mountain. P2 said the hotel. We asked her what she liked about the hotel. She said she liked the bathroom. We asked her why she liked the bathroom. And she said she loved the bathroom floor.

So there you have it! The highlight of our vacation was the bathroom floor!
