After Galaxy's Edge, we hit up Splash Mountain. Instead of doing Rider Switch, we found it easier to just do the 4 fast-passes, and take turns. I took P1 first, and he liked it and said it was a breeze! Dad took P2, and she did not like it!
You can barely see P1, but there is not a trace of P2 with Dad! She was clinging to Dad for dear life!
While Dad and P2 were riding Splash Mountain, we saw Pooh, Tiger and Eeyore. We got in line, and shortly after we did, they all left! But it was just for a water break, and they came back. P3 was being quite the handful. He kept trying to skip the line and go straight to the characters. He also face planted at one point, and was rather upset. There was a young grandma behind me, and she was very kind and helped me out. She was saving a spot in line for her grand kids.
It was finally our turn, and P3 was adorable! He loved Tiger! He ran up and gave him a big hug. It was so sweet. P1 also enjoyed meeting all the characters. P3 didn't want to leave Tiger until he realized there were more characters to see!
The boys with Eeyore:
And Winnie the Pooh! Too much adorableness! Meeting Pooh, Tiger and Eeyore was the highlight of P3's day. He didn't want to leave them, and kept trying to go back.
At this point in time we made the poor decision to send Dad off to get a locker for our droids. Unfortunately, we thought the lockers were inside the park. So poor Dad trekked all the way to the entrance, only to realize the lockers were OUTSIDE the main entrance, and he didn't have his ticket on him. It was hot and crowded, and a whole lot of wasted effort. Poor Dad.
While he was gone, we went on the Winnie-the-Pooh ride, and all the kids liked that one. It was also a 5 minute wait, wahoo! Then we stopped at the Hungry Bear Restaurant where Dad rejoined us. We got a drink and some food to share. We shared 2 Power Pack kid's meals which had apples, carrots, yogurt, and goldfish. I thought P3 would like it, but he didn't share my opinion. P3 really didn't eat much after Galaxy's Edge.
Next, we tried Pirates of the Caribbean. It had about a 30 minute wait. Most of the wait was outside in the hot sun. At this point, P3 was done. He was not happy to wait in line, and screamed a lot. Poor kid was ready for his second nap. (He did have a nap in Galaxy's Edge). This line was the worst! It is the line that never ends, especially with a screaming toddler. We finally made it inside, and P3 quieted down. All the kids were super somber during the ride, and P1 and P2 said they didn't like it. I was just glad P3 was finally quiet. And also glad to be out of the sun!
After Pirates, we had 5 minutes left on our FastPass for Thunder Mountain. I took P1, and we ran for it! Dad took P2 and P3 to Tomorrowland. We barely made it in time to use our fast-passes. There was a young girl and her dad behind us, and she told P1 that he was so brave to do this ride! I think that helped him be brave, so thank you little girl! P1 did great, but afterwards he said he only liked the ride a little, and it was REALLY fast.
We met up with Dad at the Star Wars gift shop in Tomorrowland. P2 found lots of things she liked!
Trying on Jedi robes:
Dad told her she needed to be scary to be a Sith, so here are her scary faces:
Dad took P1 and P2 and did Star Tours. P1 loved it because he got to see Boba Fett, and he said C3P0 was a crazy pilot. P2 thought it was a little scary.
I took P1 on HyperSpace Mountain. Even with fast-passes, the line was long. P1 loved the ride though! It was his favorite ride, and he loved that it was Star Wars. I don't think he would have liked the old Space Mountain as much. He went a second time with Dad, because we didn't think P2 would like it. While they rode that, I took P2 and P3 to ride the Nemo ride. It was supposed to only be a 10 minute wait. But it was much longer, and I was carrying 2 bags. The boys finished HyperSpace Mountain before we even got to the front of the line, so we ended up bailing to go get dinner.
We ended up getting dinner at the Galactic Grill. The food was okay but not great. Although P1 said his turkey sandwich was amazing! We definitely enjoyed the food more in Galaxy's Edge.
After dinner we tried to use our Fast-Passes for Buzz Lightyear, but the ride was shutdown. So we used those Fast-Passes to do Star Tours again. I took P1, and the Dad took P2 again. While Dad and P2 were doing that, the boys and I snuck over to see Darth Vader!
The cast members recognized our hats, and said P1 was good to go, but they didn't think I should be there. (Sabine is a rebel). Darth Vader asked P1 and P3 to join the Dark Side, and they both did!!! But P1 said he was just teasing... P3 just stared at Darth Vader the whole time. He was very intimidating.
We were finally able to ride Buzz Lightyear. P3 loved seeing Buzz, and this was probably his favorite ride (of the 3 he did). He also enjoyed the gift shop afterwards:
P2 wanted to take some pictures of me:
We had to get a Dole whip before we could be done for the day. We all enjoyed it, and it was gone much too fast!
On our way out, we had to get a picture if front of the castle:
And one more picture in front of the Mickey flowers:
We left the park at 7:30 pm. So we were in there for almost 13 hours! What a long day! We were so glad to be able to take the shuttle back to the hotel. In fact, the shuttle ride was P3's favorite ride of the entire day! He loved to bounce on the edge of his seat, and he would get mad at me for holding onto his shirt so he didn't fly off the seat.
We made it back to the hotel, and I thought we would just crash. But we had to try out the droids and take turns getting ready for bed. P3 loved chasing the droids around, so we had to keep him on the bed to protect the droids. It was after 10 pm when we finally hit the lights.
