I had the "great" idea to go to the zoo on Pioneer Day with my family. The zoo was not crowded, but getting to the zoo was a nightmare! We did our best to avoid the parade route, but it was the marathon that got us! So don't go to the zoo on Pioneer Day!
The kids loved sitting on all the animal statues. P1 especially wanted me to take pictures of everything.
P3 liked watching the seals, sea lions, and polar bear.
P1's favorite part was the small animals exhibit. He wouldn't let us skip any of them, and got very upset if we tried to. P3 also pointed at a snake and said "Snake!".
