We had planned to go to This Is The Place Heritage Park with my in-laws, but my truck ended up having problems that day. So instead, we went to Kangaroo Zoo. P1 had no hesitations and loved running after his cousin and playing on all the toys. P2 took a lot longer to warm up to it, but eventually she started playing and had a lot of fun.
P1 shed a few tears. Once because he got hurt (I think he just bonked his head with another kid), once because he got stuck, and many times because he was trying to find his cousin who was running around with the big kids. So, the time he got stuck, he had followed the big kids in between an obstacle course that wrapped around. So instead of going in the entrance, the big kids were squeezing in between the entrance and exit, and would then climb over the wall to get into the obstacle course. So poor little P1 had followed them in, but couldn't climb over the wall. And of course, the big kids left him behind. So he was stuck and crying, and I had to stop an older girl and ask her to help pull him up. But P1 was off chasing the big kids in no time, and had a lot of fun.
