She loves to say "hi" and "bye" to people. She is also very good at saying "Thank you", and it is adorable.
She LOVES the park. It is her favorite thing. She says "hi"/"bye" to it every time we drive past it. She especially loves the swings. I finally convinced her that she would be ok on the baby swings, and now I don't have to swing with her every time.
She didn't like the ocean and the beach on our vacation. We went swimming at Grandma's house, and she didn't want to get in the water. But once I got her in, she decided she liked it a lot. She was even swimming all by herself (with help from a life jacket).
She doesn't like being dirty. When she spills food (or even just water) on her shirt, she will demand that we "Change clothes!" and she will run off to her room to pull out new clothes. Recently, she noticed that the bottom of her shoes were dirty. And now she refuses to wear them. So she started wearing her "fops" (flip flops), which she has never liked wearing. But then, of course, the bottoms of those got dirty too, and left us in a pickle.
She loves "Jake and the Neverland Pirates", probably more than her brother does. She has a stuffed Jake and Izzy, and is always demanding "Watch Jake! More Jake!".
She loves her brother, and is always yelling his name. They usually play really well together. She adores him, and loves everything he likes.
She actually likes to take naps (she must get that from me!). She loves her blankies and will often try to put herself down for her nap. She sleeps well at night, and in the morning you can hear her yelling "OUT Mom, OUT!" I guess we should put her in a toddler bed sometime soon.
When I am in the bathroom, she will come pound on the door and yell "Come play! Out Mom, out!". She likes to yell a lot if you hadn't noticed...and she has a pretty good scream...and a pretty good dinosaur roar/growl. She is a lot noisier than P1.
Her favorite food is fruit. She is always up for treats. She will eat her veggies pretty well (broccoli, green beans, peas, corn). She loves any type of sauce...and tries to eat it by itself. She isn't so great at eating the main course. And she will hardly eat anything if we go out to eat (except french fries, she will always eat french fries). When we were on vacation for a week, we were worried she would starve, because she hardly touched any of her food. Oh, and she cannot sit in her chair for an entire meal. She is constantly getting up and down, and running around. Which drives me a little crazy, since she has recently decided to eat everything with her hands even though she can use utensils perfectly well.
She is still great at pouting. She still gets "spitting mad". She likes to just collapse on the floor and cry when she is upset. She likes to be held and cuddled still. And she loves to sit on your lap.
She loves to read books, and the books can actually survive her touch now. We even borrowed our first children library books.
She loves taking baths. If you ever even mention the word "bath", she will run into the bathroom and try to take her clothes off.
She was absolutely fascinated with my earphones the other day. When I would put one in her ear, she would get the biggest smile on her face.
And she likes to take selfies, so I indulge her occasionally.
Happy Birthday sweet girl!
