We took a day trip up to the Uintas to go fishing. We went to Washington Lake, and the water was really low so we had to walk in a ways. The kids did great and had a fun time. P1 was a natural fisherman and fished the entire time we were there. He caught quite a few! P2 did pretty well with casting, but she didn't like actually catching the fish. She would panic if there was a fish on the line. But she enjoyed being outside and eating snacks. P3 liked playing in the dirt. He took a little nap while we were there. It was a fun excursion, and the kids are excited to do it again!
