We have an easement and pipeline in our backyard. Unfortunately, the pipe company decided they needed to clear out all the vegetation in the easement area. So we lost our big trees in the backyard. It was sad because they were a good barrier for the train, and they also provided good shade in the afternoon/evening.
When the first tree came down, I jumped back from the window because it looked like it was going to fall on the house! It came pretty close.
Now we have enough firewood to last for 30 years. I guess we need a fireplace, or a fire pit at least.
