I didn't end up taking many pictures this Thanksgiving because I usually had a baby in my hands. This year we were supposed to do Thanksgiving with PE's family, but his parents had just barely moved to St. George. We weren't going to drive down there with a new baby, so they decided to come up this way. Initially, we reserved our church building because we thought we would have a large group. But when we realized it would only be 14 people, we made other arrangements. My family was going out of town for Thanksgiving, and so my parents graciously let us use their house. So it was definitely an odd set-up, but it ended up working really well.
PE went up early and took care of the turkey, which was delicious. I cooked the sweet potatoes at home and then brought them up. And I basically let PE and his family take care of the rest. I had a good visit with my sister-in-law, and she got to finally meet P3. It was fun for P1 and P2 to play with all of their cousins. Everyone seemed comfortable in the house, and I think we all had a good experience. It was odd though, that we all left the house at the end of day. We said goodbye to everyone, and then we locked up and headed back to our own home.
All in all, it was a pretty great Thanksgiving!
