Fun at the park:

P1 telling stories and singing songs:

Relaxing in the hammock. Everyone likes the hammock in the house except mom.

A lovely start to my day! I had an OB appointment at 9 am and I took the kids with me since they had a dentist appointment afterwards. I was stopped at a red light when a truck pulls up beside me (in the left-turning lane), and I hear an awful sound. In shock, I realize that this truck just took off my mirror. The light was still red and while still in shock I was trying to figure out what to do. My first thought was to write down the license plate, but I didn't have anything handy. So then I try to memorize the plate. The light turns green, and I realize that I need to follow him. So I follow the truck thinking he will pull over. He doesn't, so I start honking and signaling for him to pull over. I followed him through 3 turns before he finally pulled over. I get out and march over to the truck (it is a company vehicle). At this point I wonder if I am doing the right thing or not, because I have no idea who is in this truck. The guy was very quiet and obviously didn't know what to do. I told him that he took off my mirror and I need his insurance card. I got a picture of the insurance card, and a picture of his license plate, and then I hurried off to my doctor's appointment. Somehow I managed to be somewhat on time. PE called the company who owned the truck, and they were really good to pay for everything. But it was still a pain to deal with. I am glad that I chased the guy down though, otherwise it would have cost us $450, ouch!

P1 and P2 both did great at the dentist. No tears!

We decided to go out for a treat, and P2 declared that we should get ice cream cones. Thanks McDonalds for your $0.59 ice cream cones!

We made a trip out to the Lego store and P1 spent the whole time building with Duplos. Other kids like to run around and look at all the sets. And they also beg their parents to buy something. But P1 and P2 are just content to build. Maybe that means we have too many Legos at our house.
