My little boy turned 4! When he came out of his bedroom, his presents were on the piano so now he thinks that's where all birthday presents are supposed to be. He loved his new Bucky ship, and his Pokemon t-shirt.
P1 did a pretty good job at sharing his new toys with his sister. But I did have to keep reminding P2 that it was P1's birthday and that these were his special new toys.
That night we had family come over to celebrate. P1 thought it was great to open so many presents!
P1 got some pretty awesome cards. One had a blow-up pirate sword inside the card, and another card could be turned into a pirate hat. Cards are definitely not what they used to be!
P1 loved the Jake outfit he got, complete with a spyglass, bandanna, sword, and map.
He also got a Jolly Roger ship to go with his Bucky ship. He got some nice new clothes, including a Kion outfit (from The Lion Guard). He also got some "school" books, the book "Ferdinand the Bull", a few other books, and a small Lego set.
P1 wanted a Lion Guard cake. Fortunately, we already had the characters. I thought it came out pretty well! P1 loved how the cake looked, but he didn't end up eating much of it. My kids are not big fans of cakes.
