2.5 Years Old

Can't believe this little boy is already two and a half!

His favorite color is still orange. And if anyone tells him they love his red hair, he will promptly tell them "no, it's orange."

Whenever I say "Mommy doesn't feel well", P1 will say "I will kiss it better Mom" and he will come kiss it better. Such a sweet boy.

He surprised me the other day by spelling his name, "Mom", and "Dad". He knows most of the letters of the alphabet.

He likes to make houses. He will move all the kitchen stools around to box off a corner and make it his house. I have a hard time maneuvering around the kitchen these days.

He still takes an afternoon nap. Now he wants us to "tie him up" when he goes to sleep, which means to wrap his blanket around him. And the other night, he kept telling his sister to "lie down like me" and go to sleep when all she wanted to do was play in her crib.

He likes to play "birthday" and make birthday treats for everyone and set them on the table (or laundry basket).

He's a pretty good eater, but if he has decided he is done or doesn't want something, then he will gag on it and throw up if you try to force it at all.

Eating a corn dog (or hot corn as he sometimes calls it, mixing corn dog and hot dog).

Building a snowman with Dad in April:

Reading books to his sister:

I keep trying to get him to wear his Aggie tie on Sundays, but he refuses to. But I got him to keep it on long enough for a picture one time!
