18 Months

P1 had his 18 month check-up yesterday. As usual, he was not a fan. He screamed bloody murder when we tried to weigh and measure him. It was difficult to get his weight because he wouldn't let go of me.

Weight: 24 lbs 1 oz (25th percentile)
Height: 33.75 in. (84th percentile)

Waiting for the doctor:

He is a happy, healthy boy on all accounts! We are grateful for the good health P1 has always had.

His 3 favorite things to do are cook, play outside, and look at his Noah flap book. He loves to open up the flaps and point to all the animals and have you make the animal sounds. If he's in a willing mood he will make the sounds of a dog, snake, cat, lion, owl, penguin (we say "waddle waddle"), duck, tiger, and sometimes monkey.

P1 learned how to say "this", so now he points to whatever he wants and says "this, this, this..." until you get it for him.

We try to look through the gospel art book daily, and his favorite pages are the ones with the Latter-day Prophets. And he will keep pointing at them until you sing him the Latter-day Prophet song. And then you get to sing it over, and over, and over. I think he'll know all the prophet's names before he even goes to primary. Speaking of which, P1 starts nursery this Sunday! I'm excited for him to go and am sure that it will be a great experience for him.
