Basketball

It's so much fun to watch a child figure something out! We've had this basketball hoop for about a month, and P1 just likes to use it to stand up. I'll shoot some hoops and try to get P1 to put the ball in the basket, but it's never stuck.

So today, I was reading my scriptures and P1 was playing on the floor. Suddenly I hear the sound of a ball hitting the floor. I look up and wondered "Did he just do what I thought he did?" Now that P1 had my attention, he smiled and picked the ball up in one hand and dropped it through the hoop! I cheered, and for the next half hour we played some baby basketball!
