7 Months

At 7 months P1 is all over the place and keeping me on my toes! He can pull himself up on just about anything, and loves to be standing. He is getting faster at crawling, and his new favorite place to crawl towards are the bunnies cages. P1 is always trying to get somewhere, and doesn't like to sit still very often.

P1 is getting better at sleeping through the night. We put him to bed at 8 pm, and he gets up around 6 am. He often wakes up once in the night, but half of the time he will go back to sleep on his own. He usually takes a couple morning naps, and at least one afternoon nap. He still usually takes short naps (< 30 mins.), but the other day he took a 2 hour nap and I had to keep checking on him to make sure he was okay.

P1 had his first fever the other day. It was a mild fever, but he didn't want to eat any solids and he slept almost the entire day (and was very sad most of the day). I ended up taking him to the doctor just to be sure, and the doctor checked him out and thought it might be a little stomach bug, and just to make sure he was at least breast-feeding (which was all he wanted to do!). I ended up holding him most of that day.

 P1 also got his first goose-egg. His love for climbing on things and standing up also leads to a lot of falling down and bumping his head. Usually it just startles him and so he cries, but sometimes he gets a pretty good bump to go with it.

I still can't believe how quickly these 7 months have gone by. This kid will be walking before I know it! (And then I'm really in trouble!!!) P1 is such a great baby, and we love having him in our family!
